I’ve always been fascinated by the inner workings of the mind, relationships, and the subconscious patterns that shape our lives. But when I dove deeper into astrology, I found something even more profound—a roadmap that helps us align with who we truly are.

In a recent episode of Stars & Hearts, I had the pleasure of sitting down with my first mentor and astrology teacher, Kathryn Hocking, to explore the power of astrology in business, relationships, and self-trust. Kathryn’s journey—from corporate trainer to business astrologer—mirrors so much of my own transformation, and in our conversation, we unraveled how astrology gives us clarity, direction, and validation in ways we never expected.

 

Kathryn explains that astrology isn’t just about horoscopes—it’s a blueprint of your unique path. Your natal chart is a snapshot of the cosmos at the exact moment you were born, mapping out your strengths, challenges, and life lessons.

“You know how people say, ‘I wish I had a map for my life?’ Well, astrologers would say, ‘You do have a map—it’s all here in your astrology chart,’” Kathryn shared.

When I first started learning astrology, I was blown away by how much it reflected my journey. My Gemini Sun and Sagittarius Moon pointed to my curiosity, love for learning, and passion for deep conversations—all things that drive my coaching and relationship work today.

Even the challenges I’ve faced were right there in my chart. It was like the universe had been leaving me breadcrumbs all along, and I finally had a way to understand them.

One of the biggest lightbulb moments for me was seeing how astrology applies to business. Kathryn specializes in business astrology, teaching entrepreneurs how to align their strategies with their charts.

She explained that just like people, businesses have birth charts too. The date you start a business carries energetic themes, and your personal chart can reveal:

The biggest takeaway from my conversation with Kathryn? Astrology helps us trust ourselves. It’s not about fate or rigid predictions—it’s about understanding our soul’s path and making choices that feel aligned.

For me, it’s confirmed why I do the work I do, and it’s helped me support my clients in breaking free from old patterns, finding clarity in relationships, and stepping into their power.
